Using modules and quizzes
How should I move through a module?
Start with the self-assessment quiz before you look at any resources. Once you know your gaps, review the flashcards and infographics. Then work through the five case-based quizzes. They get more complex as you go and show you how to apply your knowledge in practice. Each module ends with a short video on its key messages.
Are peer comparison results anonymous?
Yes. After you answer a self-assessment or a case-based question, you'll see the percentage of peers who chose each option. Results are reported only at a group level and are completely anonymous. Your individual answers are never shared with other users.
Why is my feedback different between quizzes?
There are two types of quizzes: self-assessment and case-based. Self-assessment quizzes focus on basic knowledge. Research shows quick feedback helps when you're learning something new.
Case-based quizzes ask you to use that knowledge in a practice scenario. They also include a reflection question about your own practice. Here, research shows delayed feedback works better. It gives you time to reflect before you see formal feedback. That way, you get feedback on both your answers and how you judged your own performance.

Where do I find the infographics, videos and other resources?
They're inside each module, alongside the quizzes.
Content and creators
Who created this content?
Canadian healthcare experts identify and develop each module, including the questions and resources. A team of practitioners and editors then reviews every module to make sure it's timely, accurate and evidence-based.
How are Rx5in5 modules created?
We take a "Yes, you can!" approach. Our goal is to help practitioners find small changes they can make in daily practice. We work closely with regulatory bodies and content experts to clear up common misconceptions. We also share practical examples of how practitioners can work to their full scope for the benefit of patients.
How often is the content updated?
We review content on an ongoing basis and add new modules regularly.
What sources and references are used?
Modules use credible clinical guidelines, peer-reviewed research, professional standards, and other relevant references. Source details are included where applicable.
Are references available for this content?
Yes. Most infographics include references, and every module lists its references.
Will previously released content still be available?
Yes. We're moving modules to the new platform in stages, so some will appear after launch.
Privacy and research
Are my quiz results shared with regulators or other governing bodies?
No. We never share identifiable information about any user with regulators, colleges or other governing bodies. We may share de-identified data with partners to help them reach their education goals.
Is this a research study?
Yes. Rx5in5 is mainly for education, but we also want it to add to educational research. See the Research link at the bottom of the page for examples.

Certificates and accreditation
Can I get a certificate when I finish a module?
Yes. You can download a Statement of Completion once you finish the module requirements with a passing score of at least 70%.
How can I tell which modules are CCCEP-accredited?
Accredited modules show the CCCEP logo on their icon and include the CCCEP program number in their title.
Are all modules accredited?
No. Accredited modules are clearly marked, along with the accrediting body and the number of credits. Modules that aren't accredited still count toward non-accredited continuing education tracking.
Where do I find CCCEP accreditation details?
You'll find them on the module page, in the About the module section:
- Author and reviewer names and disclosures
- CCCEP program number
- Expiry date
- Number of CEUs (continuing education units)
